Food that Never Goes Bad

This begs the supplementary question: name an inedible food that never goes bad. But see below.

I've had honey in my house that's unusable. But One Good Thing By Jillee.com has the answer to this: "Honey may crystallize over time, but it won't actually expire or become unusable. The reason it is so resistant to spoilage is because it's only made up of about 17% water, which is too low to accommodate most bacteria and fungi. The honey actually dehydrates bacteria, so it is essentially its own preservative! If your honey does crystallize, just run your sealed container under hot water for a few minutes. The honey will soften, while maintaining its sweet flavor."

However: as well as honey, Jillee (Nystull) lists sugar, white rice, salt, cornstarch, vinegar, pure vanilla extract, maple syrup, soy sauce, bouillon cubes (beef stock cubes), dried beans, powdered milk and popcorn as foodstuffs that will never "expire" if stored properly. That's twelve edible foodstuffs, apart from honey, that don't go bad.

The Readers Digest lists nine of these, and adds "hard liquor".

You may argue that the word "edible" rules out those that are liquids; but technically, honey is a liquid. And in any case, that's just semantics, and it still leaves seven edible foodstuffs, apart from honey, that don't go bad: sugar, (uncooked) white rice, cornstarch, beef stock cubes, dried legumes, powdered milk, and popcorn.
